8th January, 1989 witnessed the inception of an idea amongst the resident bengalis in Khopoli of bringing Maa close to home and celebrate Durga Puja in Khopoli. Today the association boasts of approximately 100 families under its banner.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/a><\/div>

Kali Bari, Khopoli\u00a0represents a\u00a0Hindu temple\u00a0dedicated to Goddess\u00a0Kali\u00a0which has also become a center for Bengali\u00a0culture in\u00a0Khopoli, Raigad. Since many years we the members of Prabasi Bengalee Association had a dream of having Kali Bari in Khopoli and after years of effort and faith in the deity, our prayers were answered when Kali Mata fulfilled our dreams in the year 2019.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
