From the Desk of the President
It is a great pleasure for me to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you from this platform on the auspicious occasion of Durga Puja . I feel much honored to have been offered the responsibility to lead the association and assure you that every degree of mind and spirit that I possess will be devoted to the long-term interests of the Association.
The festival of Durga Puja marks the victory of good over evil. It is the celebration of Shakti and Bhakti and symbolizes our inner struggle to rise to higher levels of consciousness. This is a festival in which every household brims with worship and merriment. New dreams, hope and joyfulness rejuvenates our social life. It offers a magnificent chance to strengthen our alliances with friends and kins.
Although the budget of the association was limited, what attracted everybody was the homely atmosphere that the association intended to create. It was not our motive to make this a pompous and extravagant celebration, rather we had focused mainly on keeping the traditional aspects of celebrations intact and creating a homely atmosphere for all who gather. Like previous years, this year also we are publishing a multicolored souvenir which contains articles by our members and advertisements of sponsors. Have a look at the Souvenir and go through its pages to have a glimpse of the literary and the artistic engagement of our contributors.
On behalf of Prabasi Bengali Association, Khopoli I would like to thanks everybody for Jour continued support, tireless effort and dedication for the organization to make this year’s Sharad Utsav an unique experience for all of us. I sincerely appreciate your over-whelming response to raise necessary funds to make this mega event successful. My heartfelt thanks to all batrons, members, their family members, stage performers for their overwhelming support and Suidance,

I pray for Ma Durga’s blessing for a healthy and happy life for all of us. This year has been a wonderful experience, I am thankful to the seniors and founder members for setting such a positive example and inspiring me.
Every year Ma Durga puja remind us that we have to fight and win over the Asura or the evil in our life we have to guard the values of our society against any selfish subversive action from an quarter. I want to express my gratitude and respect thc members of PBA who have shown respect to our core values and acted with integrity to uphold these values.
Speaking on behalf of the of PBA family members on the auspicious time of the year, I request and encourage everyone to find the positive energy and blend it to build a Stronger foundation for PBA for today and tomorrow. Please provide us with your constructive criticisms, this will help in continuous development of PBA, towards a hannonious Bengali community based on honesty and integrity.
I sincerely thank all the donors, sponsors and volunteers, I am grateful to all my committee members for their relentless support & co-operation throughout this year.
I welcome all the new members of PBA. I encourage all members and especially new members to support PBA, if you have any doubt please ask us, we are trying to bring clarity in functioning of this Organisation. I welcome everyone suggestions.

Wow!! What a Durga Puja we had .A big applause to Prabasi Bengali Association , Khopoli (PBA) and to all of its members for making it so Big and Glamorous. PBA celebrated its 31″ year of Durga Puja in 2019 and no doubt we have made it Bigger and Better.
The Cultural and Competitive events were beautifully organized and thanks to Cultural Commitice for a flawless plan. Celebrating Durga Puja is a perfect platform of coming together, dancing to the tune of Dhak, mingle with friends, relatives and enjoying good food. We at PBA are committed to provide this beautiful platform.
I would like to convey my special thanks & sincere wishes to all advertisers, donors & sponsors for supporting us to arrange this event. And of course to all members & their family who render their services and moral support throughout the year to make the whole festival glorious & successful.
I strongly feel that we have miles to go. Hence I appeal to all youngsters & new arrivals at Khopoli and it’s nearby towns to get more involved in association activities, guide us with fresh ideas & take ‘Prabasi Bengali Association – Khopoli’ to a new height.
