Our History

Kalibari fulfils the long standing wishes of thousands of devotees in and around Khopoli Raigad :

 

From many years we the members of Prabasi Bengalee Association had a dream of making Kali Bari in Khopoli and for that efforts were going on from the last few years but Kali Mata fulfilled our dream in the year 2019, month of November 15.

 

 Bhoomi Poojan of KHOPOLI KALI BARI was held on 15/11/2019.

 

Kalibari was set up in Khopoli to fulfill the long standing wishes of hundreds of devotees in and around Khopoli, the wholehearted effort of Khopoli Bengali Association family Members, supported by devotees of other communities with the blessings of Khopoli Municipal corporation and all honorable corporators.

 

Due to constraints of funding the roofing plan for the temple still has not been executed.

 

During constructing Kali Bari We face constraints of funds,but our KBA Members opened their helping hand in various ways.

 

With the blessings of Maa Kali and the efforts of all the devotees, we have been able  to do this great work in spite of  Lockdown and Pandemic COVID 19.

 

We brought the idols of Maa Kali, Ganapati jee,  and Shiv jee, from Jaipur Rajasthan.
